How should I communicate a special need to a hotel?
Answered By Hailee Quincey, Editor
Advocating yourself is the best way to
communicate your special needs. Learn and
practice the easiest way to move or guide
yourself together with your equipment,
quickly but safely. Always be prepared to
give short, concise, clear, and particular
instructions or directions to the hotel
personnel, it can be in writing or orally. If
you have a visual impairment, advise the
personnel to grasp your arm. If you're deaf,
let him write things down for you.
